Ed Popkess

Ed is the owner/manager of the Davidson Funeral Home along with being a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Ed became the owner of the Davidson Funeral Home in 1997 when his family purchased the funeral home from the Davidson family. Ed is an active member of the Northland Christian Church, NATOMA, a charter member of the North Topeka Business Alliance, the Kansas and National Funeral Directors Association and Amateur NASA Club. Ed graduated from Sabetha High School, Washburn University with a Bachelors Degree and Kansas City Kansas Community College with an Associated Degree in Mortuary Science. Ed and his wife Annette have five children, Shannon, Melissa, Hogan, Kristen, and Hunter. When not attending children's activities, he enjoys camping, sports and traveling. Ed also has four cats, as well as two dogs, Taye and Riley.
 
Scott Hayen

Scott has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1985, serving Topeka and Ottawa families. He has been with Davidson Funeral Home since January of 2000. Prior to joining Davidson Funeral Home, he was with Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home in Topeka. He is a member of Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church, the North Topeka Business Alliance, the Kansas Funeral Directors Association, and the National Funeral Directors Association. The son of Reverend Leon Hayen, Scott was raised in Pittsburg, Hiawatha and Topeka. He attended Washburn University and graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College Mortuary School in 1984. He and his wife Kelley Jo have two children, Christopher and Heidi, and reside in Topeka. Scott enjoys attending his children's baseball and soccer games.
